Samir Khan is a DJ by profession, from Kolkata, India. Samir started DJing at the age of 16 and played at many prestigious night clubs in the city. He was a resident DJ of Saturday Club, one of the oldest and fanciest Club in Kolkata for 5 years. He has played in innumerable private shows, standalone gigs and college music festival across India. He then got into music production as that was his real passion. Samir learnt mixing and mastering and opened up his own recording and music production studio called Studio Philly. Studio Philly, a popular name amongst today’s youth, is where he produces his electronic music. This music has been appreciated by top DJs of India like Anyasa a.k.a Anish Sood and is also working with his label named Class Action. Samir is a pro at making originals as well as remixes of old songs which are also his specialty. He plays House, Minimal Tech, Italo Disco, French House, Progressive / Melodic House, Indie Dance, among other genres. In total, Samir has over 10 years of experience in DJing & music production.
