Christian Bruzelius has explored many musical constellations through the years; from a punk inspired sound in his early teens to the current band where he feels right at home. Christian Bruzelius has written songs since he was 14-15 years old, and ever since then the music he plays have been as explorative as his influences. In the music he writes, Christian enjoys combining different genres, inspired by everything from reggae and soul to rock and jazz. Even so, there is always a common thread to his songs and expression tying them together. As a songwriter, Christian often starts out with a feeling or a loose thought and after that he lets the inspiration flow free and lets the music write itself. Christian finds that he grows with each song he’s writing and how he sees them as a kind of diary – like snapshots of life. Christian is passionate about playing live and says that being on stage, connecting with an audience, is an amazing source of energy. Even more so when playing with a band where that wordless communication between the members on stage enhance those fleeting, yet precious, moments of presence and synergy.
