Hi! I'm Calvin. I make music. I enjoy using electronic and acoustic materials to construct novel sonic environments. I also like a nice chord here and there and maybe an aching melody. I'm currently living in Michigan while finishing masters degrees in composition and cello performance at the University of Michigan. I write most of my music in an unheated attic where I mess around with a whole bunch of instruments. In this attic, I hear mesmerizing sounds--those of birds, wind, rain, insects, cars, construction, dogs--seeping through the roof, and wafting through the windows. Both intentionally and unintentionally, these sounds merge with my own. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my songs.
