I've been a crazy musician since I was 8 when I mastered the tennis racket. I then graduated to the bass at 13. Been in too many bands to mention! Lot's of rock influences back in the day like Sabbath, Zep, the Beatles and RUSH. I tried writing songs in my early years but was often shut down by my bandmates saying things like, "We don't want a 21 years olds ideas", "Bass players can't write songs", even making fun of my lyrics. But I dusted myself off and persisted. I learned piano and the guitar to help with my melodies and structure and I'm still pumping out songs like an old fool who won't quit. Currently I'm working on some lighter songs about surfing and having fun at the beach. Not sure how long before I dive into the pool of emotional conflict and human drama but it's coming... If you listen to my playlist you will hear the darker side of me, which I do love to do, but it's draining emotionally (even physically draining) to complete a song that dives deep into my soul. I own my own pro studio and have spent years learning to be a pro mixing engineer and producer so I can not only release my own songs to the world with confidence, but I also produce other artists. I love collaborating with other vocalists and songwriters from around the world too, so far from the UK, Kazakhstan and the US.
