Halo Refuser is the electronic alter-ego of genre-defying musical artist Asher Fulero (Emancipator, Yonder Mountain String Band, Paul Gilbert, Rena Jones, many more)... and an anagram of his name. 
 A classically trained pianist since age 4 and a busy session player with a degree in music composition and extensive rock, funk, reggae, bluegrass, world beat, and improvisational experience, he found an outlet for his more experimental and futuristic side under this moniker with eight releases since 2009 plus singles, remixes, and compilation appearances. 
 Halo Refuser is an exciting experience; mesmerizing and danceable with captivating explorations of a variety of mid-tempo electronic styles from chill to crushing. Carrying prestigious endorsements from both Moog Synthesizers and Nord Pianos, Fulero uses a litany of modern production techniques to create his sonically rich studio pieces which become manipulation fodder onstage for an interactive DJ-style live set augmented with keyboards, looping, FX tweaking, and live vocals. 
 He performs all original material or related remixes/collaborations, taking the audience on a ride through Downtempo Whomp, Trippy Psy-dub, Future Chill-step, Jazz-hop, IDM, Glitch Bass, Midtempo Breaks, and Experimental music, all refracted through the lens of a seasoned studio-session keyboardist master.
