Born in 1985 and raised in Tehran, he is a pianist, composer, arranger, and specialist performer of works of Piazzolla in Iran. He has learned the accordion in advanced level from George Gasparyan in Armenia. By performing the urban space he is one of the pioneers of street music in Tehran His First album “Tehran Waltzes” was published as part of the “Intimate Sentiments” series by the Kherad Art House Music Publication. This album quickly found its extensive audience and the theme from its first piece was used for the movie “Salesman” by Asghar Farhadi. Mehrdad has published his second album “Dornadeon” with this publisher.
