Ofentse is South African musician based in Johannesburg. He started rapping and producing in 2010, although he only started releasing music in 2015. He released his first body of work, a 16 track mixtape called 'He Didn't Know What to Call it', in 2016. The following year, 2017, he released a 7 track EP called 'Fising'. He then released a new single in 2018 titled 'Summer Feels'. A song that earned him his first tv appearance . In 2019 He performed the song live on a popular South African music show 'Shiz Niz' and shortly after that he shot his first music video for said song. He later, in 2019, re-released Fising, retouched it, added a few more songs to make it a 15 track LP. His first official release. Ofentse also made an appearance as a collaborator on the LP 'Potent Soul 2' (2019) by South African rapper VenomRaps. He and VenomRaps later released a 5 song EP 'Off the Raps' (2020), on which he raps and produces. In 2021, he released 'I Have New Music but I can Explain', a 4 track EP that was released to give his supporters something new to listen to whilst he finishes work on his new project. On July 7th 2022 he released his first full length offering, a 13 song mixtape 'I Married a Ghost Covered in Honey', since 2016's 'He Also Didn't Know What to Call It. It features production and engineering credits from super producer duo Thekidsnextdoor, the elusive Dads Favourite Kid and Ofentse. He features VenomRaps, Snow, LNP, Kmobsta, FishXV...
