Originally from El Paso, Texas where his family is from to California to Boise, Idaho his family moved around and that’s where he gained love for different cultures and saw many things along the way as a product of poverty! Texas T has done many shows with Tech N9ne and came close to signing with Strange Music but that didn’t stop him, he toured with Chingo Bling and was on his reality show and almost landed a distribution deal with Big Chile! Texas T marketed and promoted his own music and was known for his gorilla marketing around the Pacific Northwest from Salt Lake City to Reno and up to Portland and Spokane. Many fans in those areas and artists can vouch and are featured on his solo album “Chillaxed”. Upon his release from jail in 2002 he changed his life and became a street teamer for Upstairs Records (NB Ridaz/Lil Rob) and eventually led to working for Travis O’Guin famously known for signing Tech N9ne!
