LOTUS CHROME is an 18y/o old artist from yyc, a city in southern Alberta, Canada. Her musicality stems from her being exposed at such a young age to music, starting with playing violin, then piano, guitar, and many many other instruments. Her musical inspiration in different artists such as Tyler The Creator, A-Boogie, Erykah Badu, just to name a few, drives her art which is clearly seen in her music. What sets LOTUS apart from the crowd is her approach to her art. It is quite literally all over the place in regards to genre and sound, from trap/drill to r&b/neo-soul and anything in between, she uses her music as a medium of expression no matter the genre. Versatility is her forte. LOTUS CHROME even takes inspiration from genres such as thrash metal and genuine punk, as she was exposed to the alternative punk scene being in multiple bands all throughout highschool. Only being 18 with such big ambitions, only time can tell how far her art and passion will lead her.
