Jay Meadows is a hip hop & experimental r&b artist from Mississauga, Canada, a city just outside of Toronto. He started making music when he was about 20 years old and initially focused on a rap heavy approach with influences such as Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, Eminem, & Kanye West fuelling the content and delivery behind his early music, most notably in older songs such as Affair & Meadowvale Go, which is a nod to the area of Mississauga that he is from. 
 Later on in his career, he started discovering other influences that were more R&B focused, such as The Weeknd, Eli Sostre, Drake, & Tory Lanez. In 2019, he dropped his first EP, Neon Nostalgia which carried a darker and more emotional tone compared to his previous work. He followed that up with Neon Nostalgia 2, featuring similar vibes with a much more polished sound. 
 Today, Jay focuses on honing this sound by dropping new music every month, performing locally, and collaborating with other creators.
