Sukesha Elizabeth Ray, better known by her stage name Sukesha Ray (d.o.b December 10, 1993), is an American singer, songwriter of Indian (Bengali) and Caucasian descent. She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Sukesha was born and raised in the USA. Her passion for music started at a very young age. It was not long after she spoke her first words that she started singing them. She was singing in her school choir, performing in school musicals, and writing her own songs from the age of six years old. When she was in elementary school, she started taking piano lessons. This helped develop her affinity for melody, rhythm, and her ability to play music by ear. When she was 15 years old, she took a small hiatus from singing when she was diagnosed with vocal nodules. However, she sought the right treatment under the guidance of her vocal coach, and made a full recovery. After graduating college, she moved to Florida with her family where she met many musicians. They inspired her to fully pursue music as a professional career. What lies at the heart of Sukesha’s musical creativity is the people she loves and cares about. She yearns to create music for them that will lift their souls and bring joy into their lives. She describes her music as positive, energetic music. She wants everyone to feel free and happy when listening.
