Biography

After officially bursting onto the independent scene back in early 2013, ‘Jordan Drey’ then teenage prodigy, has been on an upward ascent towards the music Industry. Born in Junction City, KS on May 17th 1999, and raised primarily between South East Texas & Central Indiana; a young Jordan begun writing raps at the age of only 8 years old. After years of being bullied as a young child, he used his rhymes as an escape to a broken home & a forgettable childhood. After moving to Virginia at age 13, In effort to reinvent himself, Jordan begun to associate himself with local gang members which would inevitably lead to a spike in the rebellious behavior which would unknowingly become the antithesis of his storied run. His infamous debut album “Resurrection III” would release in January, 2014 becoming the 1st of many self produced projects that were to follow. His signature effort “1999” album which released in August, 2015 solidified Drey as a true prodigy, as he showcased his amazing ability to not only rap , but construct songs on a level far superior than a majority of kids his age. He doubled down early 2016 with a slew of singles like “It’s All You” , “Beautiful People”, and “Later Pain”, his biggest song yet which is almost as undeniable as his budding vocal presence. Growing up a fan of underground hip hop and the group Funk Volume, he later went on to win 2nd place in 2017’s NSMC’s 5 rap contest, hosted by former Funk Volume producer Kato On The Track.
