Marianne Lihannah is a Danish born singer residing in the UK, who initially was known for her expressive interpretations and story telling of folk ballads and early music, both as a solo singer and as a member of the duo Si Canta. Later on she also became the captivating lead vocalist in the duo Elyssia, singing the songs by Paul Landry, and co-creating harmonies and lyrics through both new age and progressive rock genres. Marianne is also a composer in her own right and she is also writing her own songs. Marianne plays various instruments, including the Scandinavian nyckelharpa, however singing is by far her main instrument.
