Dan Lyons is a Margate based musician and songwriter. He was a founding member of Fat White Family and Phobophobes. He worked with Misty Miller as her drummer and songwriter during the recording and touring of her first album The Whole Family Is Worried which was released via Sony Records. He has leant his voice to the most recent La Femme album 'Rock Machine ', singing lead vocals on six tracks including first single Clover Paradise. He had a brief stint at the tail end of 2023 playing drums with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and is currently working on a new solo album which will be released in 2025.

Clémence Quélennec' for example...Dan recalls memories of a short-lived, lop-sided romance and spins characters and settings into life. Through vivid imagery rarely seen in song, he can tell stories in earnest... Lyons is a storyteller.
