“Within a genre that frequently has tropes that people tend to follow, I think Rachel kind of upsets and breaks a lot of the rules within electronic music.” (Adam Walton, BBC Radio) A one-woman electronic production machine and die-hard Ableton enthusiast, Rachel K Collier is a Welsh Artist from Swansea in the UK. She has built an online presence from sharing performances of her high energy song-focused studio productions using a multi-instrument technical setup. Performing with live percussion and interactive visuals on festival stages, or an alternative minimal live looping solo set for more intimate gigs, Collier has gained significant recognition and experience touring the UK and playing international shows in Paris, Berlin, Czech Republic, India and the USA. Show highlights include BBC Radio 1’s ‘Biggest Weekend’, SXSW, Sophia Gardens Arena and supporting ‘Peking Duk’ for a sold out show at London venue KOKO. Her self-titled debut album ‘RKC’ and accompanying feature-length documentary exploring life as an independent artist received significant support online and since has led to numerous production commissions for other artists and brand collaborations. Her second Album ‘Songs In The Key Of Internet’ is a contagious and passionate record which features vocal collaborations, sample flips, synth challenges and some straight-up musical honesty. A beautiful combination of the synthesised and organic, ‘Songs In The Key Of Internet’ drops on September 27th 2023.
