Noire Velours is a 28-year-old singer whose voice justifies her slogan: "Soft is the New Black". Born Christelle Houefa Anoumou, she grew up between Togo and Benin, and was inspired by artists of all stripes such as Angélique Kidjo (whom she has been listening to since she was 11 with a lot of passion) , Shade, Rihanna, Kokia, Brymo and even Mr.Eazi among many others. She decided to enter the Togolese music scene in May 2017 and since then, her talent is unanimous and she has confirmed her place in the musical world with carefully selected singles and an upcoming album.
