As an artist LAVALU scratches the back of classical music while poking the fires of pop. She is in the midst of creating a contemporary triptych, inspired by composers such as Debussy and Satie. 
 Piano. Voice. Honest and bare. Lyrics that can be read as stories about blunt desire. 
 The Rise trilogy is her finest work to date. Part 1&2, Solitary High & Midair, received much critical acclaim. Now she launches the final chapter, called: Earthbound. She’s expanded her sound with the help of cello and viola. But with this seemingly classical trio she takes more effect pedals to the stage, than any given pop act. 
 LAVALU has succeeded in developing a style in which influences of the great singer-songwriters and the classical composers can be heard combined.
