$tupid Young, born Alex Pham, is a prolific and respected Hip Hop artist that hails from Long Beach, California. He made his first releases in 2011 at the age of 18, and hasn’t looked back since. Especially after “Mando” took off, amassing over 40 million views on YouTube. His lyrics often reference his past growing up in a community where gang activity is all too common, but Young is proof that there is always another way of dealing with things apart from violence; his trusting and effective way is music.
