The 2nd Language is a hip hop group from Tacoma, WA, featuring Cambodian-American rappers chasing the dream of Hip Hop and Rap. The group came together in 2004, with the core members Silong, Sam, and Sathia "Uncle Ted", cousins that grew up together on the Eastside of Tacoma. Language Arts, the debut album featuring Bruce Leroy, Davy, and praCh Ly, reflects on the Cambodian diaspora digging into their roots while navigating the dynamics between Cambodian, U.S. American, and Hip Hop culture.
