“Demetrius X” is a project that started back in 2019. He decided to take his love for electronic dance music (EDM) and all it’s sub genres and make something of his own. 
 When it comes to the “sound” of Demetrius X there really isn’t one as he’s still searching for it. The music put out by Demetrius can vary from EDM, cinematic scores, all the way to alternative, modern day hip hop, pop, & R&B. As an unsigned independent artist based out of North Carolina Demetrius strives to show his diversity as a artist/producer, recording, mixing, & mastering engineer. 
 As of November 1st, 2021 he’s become more known for his trilogy series “The Purge”. A series started back in 2019 based on the announcement off the movie series “The Purge”. His first release of the series was “The Purge” which in the last year or so has grown to have over 2.5 million streams on Spotify. In this time it also became a popular song on Tik Tok being used in over 170k videos, and was also used as the walkout track for UFC’s fighter Brian Ortega in UFC 266 main event title fight vs. Alexander Volkanovski on September 25th, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 
 Demetrius plans to continue to release new music every month and keep his listeners on their toes. As he continues to explore sounds he will share his stories, experiences, feelings and emotions through his music.
