Born in Morocco, Martyre is an electronic music producer whose artistic trajectory bridges classical training with modern dance music. His musical foundation began at the prestigious National Conservatory of Music and Choreographic Art in Morocco, where he mastered the guitar and violin at a young age. This early exposure to music theory would prove instrumental in shaping his future sonic identity. Martyre's path took an unexpected turn during his studies in China. Initially working as a promoter in Shanghai's thriving nightlife scene, he found himself immersed in the world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM). Witnessing the energy of international DJs like Skrillex and R3hab ignited a passion within him. Inspired, he transitioned from promoting to DJing and production, embarking on a journey to create his own unique electronic sounds. Upon relocating to Canada, Martyre took a strategic pause from DJing, dedicating himself to mastering the art of music production. Drawn to the intricate and atmospheric sounds of melodic techno and progressive house, he found inspiration in artists like Tale of Us, Fideles, Mathame. This newfound focus led to a successful collaboration with a Moroccan Legend Hamid El Kasri on the track "HVMDVCIA," released on Palm Therapy Sounds, a prominent Moroccan electronic music label.
