After their self-titled debut album (2020), the stand-alone single "Muiñeira da Maruxaina" (2021), and their second studio album 'Axexan, espreitan' (2022), MOURA is back with a new studio EP titled 'Fume santo de loureiro' -out on May 31st via Spinda Records. This new conceptual EP was conceived as the original soundtrack for the short-film 'Nai', by filmmaker Tito Refoxo. The title of this new multidisciplinary project comes from the exorcising and healing expression used in various Galician rituals, which aligns perfectly with the storyline of the short-film. 'Fume santo de loureiro' consists of three songs, accompanied by an introduction and small cuts of incidental music that showcase the band's more experimental side. It's a dark album where traditional vocals and percussion guide through the process of loss; progressive chants create a hypnotic mantra against the evil eye; and lullabies turn into ghostly laments. The album was recorded and mixed at Hertzcontrol Studio by Marco Lima; then mastered by Álvaro Gallego. MOURA is: Diego Veiga, Hugo Santeiro, Fernando Vilaboy, Brais do Red, Pedro Alberte Aguado and Belém Tajes
