Born and raised in Colorado where he currently resides, Just Emcee is a rapper, beat-maker, and videographer. He has been producing beats as a hobby since 2002, which has led to a lifelong passion for hip-hop, among other genres. Just Emcee has always been a multi-instrumentalist, picking up any instrument he could get his hands on, including samplers and other electronic instruments. Over time, the microphone became another instrument for him to learn and become obsessed with, giving birth to the name "Just Emcee". While having consistency in creating new material is important to Just Emcee, consistency in genre isn't the main focus, true expression is. Although hip-hop is always heard in Just Emcee's influences, each project has its own personality. Some being totally instrumental, some full with vocals. All projects speak to a different phase of his life. Just Emcee stays active in the live music scene in Denver, Colorado. He also runs his own production company and studio, WolffHouse Studio LLC.
