Dereck Rashawn Boyd (Born February 26, 1993) It also is known as D-Rock. is an American Christian hip hop artist from Boston, Massachusetts. D-Rock began singing in church as a child. Growing up watching his older cousin rap about the gospel. Rapping became his outlet. In 2017 D-Rock released a group project called Life by affiliation. The following year in 2018, D-Rock released his first solo project, Under Construction. Under construction explored the trials and tribulations that D-Rock was going through. D-Rock also had his first featured song on Rapzilla called scars. In 2020 on February 29, he released a collaboration ep with long-time friend Vincent Tesoro called Nostalgic. In 2021 he realized a handful of singles. D-Rock uses music as an outlet to take you on a journey of his life
