darwinmcd (pronounced: darwin-mick-dee) is an electronic music producer and remixer from Southern California, USA. 
 He has become one of the most in-demand remixers and producers in the international indie synth-pop community, having done world-class remixes for the likes of: Centre Excuse, Matthias & Marss, Eminent Sol, Hollowlove, Mind Machine, MDA, and many others. 
 darwinmcd’s own original music is even more impressive than his remix work. His phenomenal 2020 single, “Featherlite”, which features the dreamy vocals of Mark Bebb (of the UK bands Shelter and Form), has been a staple on indie synth-pop radio and podcasts, and even found its way onto synth-pop legend, Vince Clarke’s very own The Synthesizer Show. The duo followed up the hit single with “Featherlite: The Remixes”, an EP featuring brilliant remixes from notable artists and remixers GRN, Reed & Caroline, People Theatre, Northern Kind, Matthias, Mind Machine and MDA. 
 In 2019, darwinmcd won the distinction of earning Remix Artist of The Year from The Sol of Synth-Pop radio show, on the strength of his remixes for Hollowlove , MDA, and Mind Machine.
