Your voice is one of the few things anyone could take away from you, and since 2017 singer-songwriter Caitlin Carey has found and honed hers. 
 Her love for music and singing started at a very young age and carried on throughout her life. 
 But it would be a long time, and a loss of self, before she started writing. 
 After suffering major losses, depression, anxiety, and a loss of herself, she picked up the guitar and started. 
 She struggled through self-teaching while struggling with self love. And throughout that time, she’s been able to piece herself back together through song writing and performing. All while creating and finding her sound. 
 Where acoustic meets soul, meeting pop and rock, is where you’ll find her wheelhouse. With vocal influences like Florence Welch from @Florence+The Machine, @AmyWinehouse, and @TheTemptations along with lyrical influences from @DeathcabForCutie and @BobDylan, she enriches her music with all of her childhood and adolescent favorites. 
 Stepping out with grown vocals that’s backed by live instrumentation, harmony walls, electric leads and the ache to say what she needs to say, Caitlin has found her voice and isn’t quieting down.
