Born in Memphis, TN and raised in Ripley, TN, singer, music producer and songwriter, Desmond Brown has spent many years crafting his talents and sound on the underground mid-south music scene. He has been featured on various projects with other indie artists in the mid-south region. To showcase his production skills (under the name 'D-Techneekz'), Desmond released an all instrumental project titled Feel The Funk (G-funk instrumentals) in 2016 and released an EP titled True 2 What I Do (2018). His sound is fused with R&B, Hip Hop, Funk and Jazz. You can hear influences from legendary music producers such as DJ Quik, DeVante Swing, Teddy Riley, DJ Battlecat and the late Roger Troutman. Vocally you can hear inspiration and influence of hitmaking artists such as Donell Jones, Nate Dogg , Montell Jordan and Melvin Riley.
