Jet Perry is obsessed with achieving greatness. At a young age, the proud Stamford, Connecticut native learned he was a gifted writer & loved music. He was exposed to an array of genres, from hip-hop to neo-soul to country, but it wasn’t until he heard Kanye’s 2007 album “Graduation” that he really caught the bug. Jet still cites this as the moment that showed him “the path.” He got started with a laptop & a few friends recording covers of popular rap songs on GarageBand. Once he wrote his first song, Jet’s mission was to develop his own voice & style. Like a mad scientist, Jet’s process is methodical & meticulous. He's inspired by musicians past and present. The unique artistry of Prince, Freddy Mercury, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Michael Jackson, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler The Creator & Childish Gambino are on the top of the list. His charismatic yet poignant lyrics often meet melodic flows & sample-based instrumentals. Expect conceptually crafted projects from Jet, like his 2016 EP “Perrywinkle Blue” (see what he did there?). His collaborations include P.MO & Mike Squires, Bordeaux, Sheezter.Pink, David Jones Jr. & Robbie Jenkins. Jet's endeavors aren't limited to music. He's the founder & frontman of the CT-based creative collective, Party of All. As a multifaceted creator, he's also a writer, director, and executive producer of The Slandering Table podcast.
