The “Southside” emcee began piano lessons at the age of 5, while living in Texas. His family later relocated to Montgomery, AL for some time, but he never continued his lessons, yet he still had a piano. His family moved back to Georgia 3 years later, where he started writing music as he grew older. In high school, in the midst of playing basketball, he recorded music. Once he graduated school, he went head first into the music world by recording songs like “Double Back”, “Southside”, and releasing his star-studded EP “After Dark”. Rico Diamonds has earned the likes of many with his versatility. His “Call Me. .” titled project gained the most attention at the top of 2024, despite being released in mid-2022. At the young age of 23, Rico Diamonds has only just gotten started.
