Biography

Ben Cardilli is a standup comic, musician & producer from Montreal. He spent his teens and 20's studying music and audio recording as well as touring in bands and writing songs. At 30, after making the quarter finals on season 6 of "La Voix" ("The Voice" for Quebec), Ben decided to take a step back from music and pursue standup comedy. Within a year, he had a routine that landed him in the finals of Montreal’s largest English comedy competition, The MTL Grand. Everything was going great, then Covid hit… Having all his plans fall through, Ben decided to dust off his old studio gear, break out his camera and film a music video for a silly song about eating he had written with a fellow comedian. The warm response inspired Ben to release new original quarantine related music videos every week, shooting each one in his small apartment, and dropping them on his social media to try to provide a needed distraction. Soon there were enough songs to fill an album. Voila! "The Great Indoors"
