 BIO Andre Locke BKA "Buddy McLain" is a talented hip hop artist who burst upon the Minneapolis music scene, literally with the power of a ticking time bomb. 
 With an obvious talent as an MC, his undeniable gift of gab, swagger and persistence he soon worked his way onto every stage he could in the city, including the legendary First Avenue. NPG artist/producer Tony Mosley who quickly pulled him aside and offered the chance to meet his boss, the one and only Prince… Upon meeting the "Purple One" they soon forged a longtime friendship and Buddy began to flourish under that and his mentor ship as well. Under his tutelage, along with others, Buddy began to rifle off a string of local hits including "What's The Haps" and "Woo Woo" as well as penning songs with not only Prince but Mint Condition and the Sounds of Blackness and soon everyone was listening including the Source Magazine... The Source, believing in Buddy and his movement followed him for over a year documenting his ride from local rapper to nationally recognized as "The next to blow" via his freshmen album "We Major", which was given 3 1/2 mics by them and soon caught the attention of the majors...as in labels. 
 With the new hit single " Dangerous'" impacting everywhere NOW! With his eyes on prize and a new outlook on life Buddy McLain is poised and ready to take his rightful place among hip hops elite. For him the best is yet to come STAY TUNED.
