Spencer started building his fame busking on the London Underground. His crowd stopping songs quickly became a point of interest to commuters and tourists alike, and caught the ear in 2014 of a Sri Lankan Business man, who flew him out to play in his popular restaurants. From there he travelled on to India, Switzerland, France, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, South Africa, Portugal; extending his fanbase where ever he goes “If there was any justice in the world, Spencer Maybe would already have a collection of gold records. In fact he was crowned 'Best UK Male Burlesque Dancer' in 2007. This is evident in his mesmerising stage presence. His command of the stage took him to Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010 and 2011 where he produced and starred in a one man musical comedy – Mixed Media Rock Opera based off his second album. The show was given a 5 star reviews and firmly cemented Spencer Maybe as a man of many tricks!
