Canadian-born Kenny Butterill first gained his audience online as a songwriter. In the late '90s, Butterill recorded his own CD, No One You Know, whose single, "How Far Can We Go?," gained acclaim in Europe and in Canada. The song was the first Americana-format crossover to reach number one in Europe.
