Munashe Lorraine, the daughter of Ex Professional soccer Player George Mbwando was born in Zimbabwe & raised in Germany. She has been involved in music for as long as she can remember. Growing up her parents used to listen to a lot of reggae, oldschool hip hop, rnB & gospel, which impacts her own music till this day a lot. Artists like bob Marley, beres Hammond, buju Banton, erykah badu, Aaliyah, destineys child,Mary j blige, Alicia keys and many more, shaped her and her music today. The 25 year old singer began playing the piano at the age of 6 and started writing and composing her own songs in English, German and her native language Shona, when she was 13 years old. Her songs predominantly revolve around love and life itself. Her goal is to make her listeners feel less lonely & more understood when it comes to different life situations.
