Biography

Seattle Sound Music Award's Best New Artist Crewboyz Verse, formerly known as Diversity, is a Seattle based artist, originally from Columbia, South Carolina. Upon entering the Army in 2014, Crewboyz Verse began pursuing his music career at age 12 yrs old by the Gospel Rap Name “Young Sampson” after falling in love with hip-hop, shadowing his father at the local radio station in Columbia, SC. His 1st radio debut was at 12yrs old on 98.5 Kiss FM Myrtle Beach/Conway SC Radio, with song “Young Christian”. By 14yrs old he begin transitioning into Diversity. He got his first shot on stage opening for Migos, who was a new group on the rap scene years later. After opening up for numerous artist, he decided to make a change and join the Army to make it out of the hood in 2014 and take his music career past home! Fast forward to 2017, Crewboyz Verse discharged from the Army honorably, pursuing his rap career full on. He started the year strong by winning 2nd Place on the Coast2Coast tour stop in Las Vegas. Throughout the Summer he opened up for Da Baby, Kstylis, The Game, Stunna 4 Vegas, and collaborated with artist such as Tas Holloway, and Luke Nasty. In November 2018, he won the Seattle Sound’s Music Award for Best New Artist. Since the year has started, Crewboyz Verse continues to live up to his name with tracks collaborating with CEO Lee of Street Execs, Travis Porter’s, Strap da Fool Show, and Solo Lucci releasing his latest album Major on all platforms.
