Frik van Coppenhagen AKA PsykoTroniK AKA Sanctum Harbor, was born in Springs, South Africa, on June 10th, 1982. 2005 was when his music productions started to excel, as he was no longer a band, but very possibly an individual artist. Where before Frik played with production software only now and then, resulting in a track here and there….he now started to produce some groundbreaking material! “PsykoTroniK” was a name Frik thought up, and initially used only as a screen name on the world wide web and other things while growing up. But then it became a very known name amongst his friends, who were all growing fond of his unique sound. PsykoTroniK is not constraint to one specific style of music, but many different styles including genres and subgenres of house. He has an extremely unique sound of his own - something he likes to call “Dream House”. “Dream House” is also planned to be a series of releases, so watch this space! PsykoTroniK’s fire was further fueled when properly introduced to the underground house scene, where various underground house genres became a total addiction. On September 23rd 2010 Frik “PsykoTroniK” van Coppenhagen was officially signed by EML Recordings (UK). This talented South African producer brings music to life, and has a lot more up his sleeve!
