Ohio based rap artist Yung Lonn makes raw, unfiltered, and honest music about life experiences. The struggle of dealing with loss and heart break is something he delivers with his sound. Here is where melody and pain collides. He’s known for rap, but his diverse nonchalant blend of Hip Hop and Indie Punk has catered to his fans across the globe. Influenced by artist like Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Kid Cudi, The All-American Rejects, and Paramore. Born Lonnie W. Eatmon III in a small city called Mansfield, Ohio. At the young age of 8 years old Yung Lonn found his passion in basketball. From traveling the world playing AAU it was apparent that basketball was his life. As he went into his teenage years and started facing his own struggles he shifted towards music. When adolescence go through things it’s hard for them to express their pain and cope, but he found a new love and relief outside of basketball with expressing himself through his artistry. Yung Lonn is still very much in love with basketball and is said to be a big Lakers fan, however at the age of 18 he made the choice to take music more serious, devoting all of his blood, sweat, and tears to music. He’s no rookie in this business. He Started his career opening up for major acts like Gucci, Ray Cash JR, Freeway, and other major acts has helped him build his core fan base.
