Biography

Born and raised in Madison, WI - Mic Kellogg had his first taste of self-expression through spoken word and hip-hop study programs in high school. It was here where Mic developed his knack for songwriting and creative direction. He decided to move to Colorado in 2011 where he spent 2 years making beats and skiing in the rocky mountains. After tearing his ACL, he decided to move to Milwaukee to pursue music more seriously with friend and collaborator, WebsterX. Mic started making a name for himself in the Milwaukee music scene as a producer, with a credit on Webster’s track “Lately (Prod. by Mic Kellogg)”. He also began developing Rahn Harper as a singer. Mic hit a breakthrough in 2015 as a solo artist with his self-produced debut album, Breakfast. He credits the laid back, feel good sound to his obsession of exploring nature and enjoying life to the fullest, which you can catch a glimpse of in his video “By 3”. He has opened for several national touring acts including Tory Lanes, ASAP Ferg, Noname, Taylor Bennett and Lil’ Yachty. Since Breakfast, Kellogg has released a series of singles and produced tracks for Rahn Harper and Lucien Parker. His latest EP, “Make This Last” released on Sept 21, 2018 with the lead single “Keep Lovin'’”. In 2019, Mic formed a 4-piece band and played several gigs in the midwest. He continues to record music and has an EP in the works with his backup singer, Riah Rivera, set to release sometime in early 2020.
