Louis Laflam is a 24 year old producer, engineer, and artist from Portland, Maine. His self produced, mixed, and mastered projects have blended influences from dusty, gritty underground hip hop to bright, sunny indie pop. Currently based in Portland, Louis grew up with classical training on bass, performing with several ensembles on many different stages in Massachusetts and Maine. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he rediscovered his passion for music through production and began taking online classes at Berklee College of Music. After building his skills, he began working with artists to bring their musical visions to life. Louis is a founding member of the UMass Songwriting and Production Club, an organization of songwriters and producers at his alma mater. Through the org and personal connections, Louis has built a network of artists and collaborators whom he helps bring songs from ideas to professional products. Louis aims to help creatives bring their art to the next level without compromising their creativity or vision. He has produced, engineered, co-written, and provided bass playing for more than 30 official releases and counting.
