w a v e s  is a music producer out of Arizona. Though he played in metal bands growing up, he found his love for creating instrumental music while serving in the United States Marine Corps. Using the GI bill to pay for school, he became a certified audio engineer at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. Continuing his education, w a v e s enrolled into Arizona State University and has been working toward his degree in psychology. To put himself through school, he became a music director at an after school program for children in Tucson, Arizona, teaching his students how to make, play, and appreciate music. He has since transitioned into a new role as a Faith and Community coordinator with a refugee resettlement agency. As for his music endeavors, w a v e s has had his music featured in programming around the world including the NBA and NFL network, has had his instrumentals in the hands of artists such as J. Cole and Lil Durk through BeatClub, and has built a community of music producers, engineers, and artists alike with a mission of encouraging, uplifting, and educating one another.
