Excalibur was formed in 1999 in the city of Campos do Jordão in the interior of São Paulo by Eduardo and Marco Aurélio, both lovers of heavy metal, classical music and medieval literature. In its trajectory the band has undergone several changes in the positions of singer and keyboard, but this did not affect the continuity of the group's musical activities. Currently, the team is very well constituted and performing musical shows throughout the region. Its members aim to create songs of extreme quality, uniting the weight of heavy metal with the lyricism of classical music, the texts portray current situations in a medieval guise, generating creative and innovative results.
