Young $tevie Wonder, is an independent music producer, recording artist, & songwriter. $tevie grew up the small city of High Point, NC. Living in a house where music was a way of life. Naturally he decided to get into music and pick up a few instruments at an early age. In December 2020 Young $tevie released a self written, and produced EP titled ‘Blue’ that contained 3 songs where he recorded and engineered himself along with a slowed/pitched down version of each song. The EP is the first project he has released as an artist. ‘Blue’ originally started off as reference tracks he was doing for fun with intentions of presenting them to other artists but during the process he decided he liked the records for himself. Expect to continue to see more from Young $tevie Wonder in the near future as an artist and as a producer. You can look forward to hearing his first full-length project “Wonder Who’s Crying Now?” In the meantime, listen to ‘Life of Pi’ his latest single. A heartfelt freestyle in which he cascades over Voyage to Atlantis by The Isley Brothers about how he sees himself and life currently. The sample choice and execution by $tevie was the perfect canvas for him to illustrate his masterpiece. Throughout the song $tevie draws comparisons between his life and that of the movie adapted novel ‘Life of Pi’ by Yann Martel. At the end of the song you can picture him drifting at sea. He’s not sure where he’s headed but in his mind, he’s managed to survive the brunt of it.
