My name is Daniel Ramirez, I was born in Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. My parents were born in the Dominican Republic, my mother came to the states when she was 4 & my father got here when he was in his teens. I grew up in a very close family. Huge gatherings always looked forward to the holidays or any family events, nothing but love. There was always music playing at its highest level at the house. Whether it was Anthony Santos, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, To Biggie, Jay-z & the list goes on. I was always intrigued by the power of music, how certain songs can pull different emotions from you is awesome. I knew at a young age I wanted to become a part of that. At the age of 14, I started to make beats. When I turned 16, I remember this one day I was at Audio’s house playing him some beats I made that week. In the midst of us talking, he tells me that I should start writing. I looked at him like he was crazy & I laughed about it, but he told me he was serious. I gave it some thought then I decided “Why not just try”. I'm 25 now & in 5-10 years, I pray to gain your love & be in a better financial position to be able to take care of my family & those who are in need. Seeing someone else smile is a blessing for me. I don’t need an excessive amount of chains or cars & clothing, knowing there are people on this earth that are starving & homeless. I pray I’m able to help as much as I can in the near future.
