Korvak is a brazilian Futuristic Old School Death/Thrash Metal band from Campina Grande, Paraíba. The band is united since they were teens, covering bands of classic metal, until composing their own music. Theirs lyrics talk about occultism, society, philosophical dilemmas, cosmic and regional tales praising the free speech and diversity, against all power forms. The band also divided stage with great metal band’s from it’s country. The band has released two EP's, one Split and two albums, with it’s latest album entitled “Korvak Chapter II: World's Duality”, one of the alternative extreme music most promising record’s. The new record brings another step into the psychedelics influences of the band, being like a fusion between Coroner, Possessed, Yes, Rush and Zé Ramalho. It’s main theme explores the duality in a big range of the concept, a kind of Taoism reinterpretation, with the brazilian Northeast cultural approach.
