The Khidd Kinetic originated from St. Paul, Minnesota and began pursuing a life of entertainment in theatre at the age of 9. Starting with school plays and working up to an opportunity to perform in the world famous musical, "Annie" with YAI, he went on to study at the John Robert Powers Company. After years of studying the art of acting, certain life circumstances forced, what was intended to be a temporary break from acting. During that time, it became apparent that self-expression was far more fruitful through the art of music. From that point forward, music became the sole focus of life and J1S Entertainment was created. Between November of 2010 and April of 2011, The Khidd Kinetic released a series of demo tapes in CD format before the 2012 debut. These projects were promoted via YouTube videos and Facebook posts. The projects were generally sold at showcases and talent shows, but initially started by word of mouth and personal encounters. During this time, The Khidd Kinetic was mostly known for making bubbly love songs and highly energetic live performances. With attempts to balance out the energy, The Khidd began teaming up with rap artists, like Lil Darrell (aka Rodd Royal), Ameen Taahir and Royal Blaqq. Now, at age 25.. we prepare for TOXIC
