With her beautifully introspective lyricism, articulate melodies and deep love of heavy bass lines, Ipswich crooner Nina Arya is leaving no stone unturned this year. Early 2023 Nina stormed the dnb scene with a feature on drum and bass heavyweight Monrroe’s first single of the year, Joining him to perform the track at a sold out Printworks London show right before its closure. Nina achieved wide reaching support from Radio 1, BBC Asian Network and BBC Radio Suffolk/Norfolk for her track ‘Waters’ and the 3fall remix that followed. This year Nina is ready to show a whole new side to her artistry with darker, moodier tones set to be released late February. Jumpstarting her songwriting career at the age of 17, Nina dove head first into the industry, working with the likes of DJ Fresh, The Brookes Brothers and Polar Youth, amassing over 2 million streams in the process. Shortly after Nina received support from BBC 1XTRA for her first solo track ‘Bad Habits’ and placed in the top 10 out of 10,000 artists for the BBC Introducing Live Lounge competition. Nina’s ability to stand out in a crowd is unrivalled, a sentiment which carries through in her live shows which Nina has spent time crafting, having performed at countless BBC events, Latitude festival, Printworks London and supporting the legendary Mancunian soul duo Children of Zeus.
