Hailing from a small town in Upstate NY, Lengel Kid looks to bring his own creative style to the modern age of Hip Hop. Lengel Kid (AKA Cody Lengel) comes from a community of “SoundCloud rappers” finding their footing in the genre, and experimenting with different types of music not typically on a mainstream radar. Mixed with synth and spacey beats combined with auto tuned harmonies, Lengel Kid mixes a sound in his musical cauldron, that is familiar to the scene, but also slightly unique, relating on mental instability, while making you nod your head. His latest full album, “Citrus,” is 100% self produced, as well as self mixed and mastered.
