Rapper, producer, engineer, entrepreneur. Pico the Kid is an artist residing in the Los Angeles, California and was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. His name is derived from a childhood nickname that was used by his mother and older brother. Pico’s musical career began in college, where he attended Oregon State University. When making music casually wasn’t fulfilling enough, he decided to start up his own label, 23rd Street Records. This idea sparked a rise in the Corvallis Hip-Hop scene when he began to host shows and met/collaborating with other artists in Corvallis, Portland, and other areas of the state. His passion for the creative and business side of music allowed him to prosper in the local Hip-Hop scene. Since the start of his journey, Pico and his label successfully released multiple albums, EP's, dozens of singles, and hosted 8 shows. Shortly after, Pico graduated OSU with a degree in Digital Communication Arts and minor in Music Production. He moved back to California to start a new chapter of his career and expand his label, taking advantage of new inspirations that came with the new location.
