CASH23, also known as CASH (born on the January 4, 1996 as Arsène Matondo Mafuta) is an english rapping MC. He’s got congolese roots, but was born in Velbert, Germany. CASH23 started making music at the age of sixteen under the name of Mary Cooper. He freestyled over the beats of Wu-Tang Clan or The Notorious B.I.G. Dedication to truth and authenticity are the foundation of CASH23' artistic identity. Audaciously introspective and closely observant of the outside world, CASH23 spent his early adolescence honing his confident, narrative-led lyrics that have become his individual style of rap. In 2015, he released his first free track named "Poetic Mind: His Voice" on Soundcloud, inspired by the Boom Bap sound. Later that year, he met his manager and executive producer Chargé, who helped him defining his own sound, which is a mix of rap, hip hop, trap and soul. He’s also inspired from his love of music of all kinds. It ranges from artists like Biggie, Playboi Carti, to Daniel Caesar. 2019, CASH23 was invited to perform alongside of Megaloh, Sam Sillah, BILLA JOE, RXCA and many other artists at the Me Against Racism Festival in Mettmann, where he made his first ever appearance on a big stage. He delivered his highly-anticipated debut single 'Bold and Hungry' in 2019, published by Hopenation.
