Biography

Born November 9, 1993 in Chicago, IL Raised across the Midwest region King Midwest has built a loyal following. Although new to the mainstream, fomally known as “Protege” King has been involved in the music scene since 2009. In 2013 while living in Las Vegas King Midwest (FKA Protege) linked with former YMCMB artist Lil Chuckee to collab on the single “Boss Shit” also featuring producer Kay-O. After losing his father in 2015 and officially changing his name to King Midwest his music fan base started to grow leading him to perform at festivals like SXSW in Austin, Tx. After a 2017 arrest for a felony charge and the birth of his first daughter in 2018 King Midwest has refocused and re-entered the music scene with his new singles “John Deer” and “Right Now” as well as rebuilt his brand with independent Record Label ODG Entertainment.
